L-Shape Fryer Cleaning Brush 592mm Angled for Commercial Fryer
L-Shape Fryer Cleaning Brush 592mm Angled for Commercial Fryer
Product Overview
The L-Shape Cleaning Brush (Part No. 12126) is designed for one job a straight brush cannot do: reaching the oil outlet, base corners, and underneath heating elements inside a commercial fryer. The 80mm angled L-tip provides access to tight spaces that accumulate grease and carbon — areas that, if left uncleaned, block the drain valve, contaminate fresh oil, and generate persistent burnt odours.
In commercial kitchens cooking breaded chicken, battered fish, or high-volume fried food, the oil outlet and base corners are the fastest areas to build up solidified residue. This residue cannot be dislodged by a straight or gong brush. The L-tip applies direct scrubbing pressure at the correct angle to lift it before it carbonises and hardens.
Heat-resistant nylon bristles rated to 257°C (495°F) — the highest temperature rating in the Henny Penny brush range. The black handle allows kitchen teams to instantly distinguish this brush from the white straight brush (12112), preventing mix-ups during the cleaning routine. Genuine OEM Henny Penny part.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an L-shaped fryer brush used for?
An L-shaped fryer brush is used to clean areas that a straight brush cannot reach — specifically the oil outlet port, base corners, and the space underneath fryer heating elements. The angled tip applies scrubbing pressure at 90 degrees to dislodge grease and carbon in tight spaces.
Do I need both a straight brush and an L-shape brush?
Yes, if you want a complete boil-out clean. The straight brush covers the main frypot walls and base. The L-shape brush covers the corners, oil outlet, and access points the straight brush misses. Using only one brush leaves residue in the areas the other covers.
Signs You Need To Replace This Brush
- The L-tip is bent or misshapen and no longer applying pressure at the correct angle
- Bristles around the tip are worn, splayed, or missing
- The oil outlet is showing recurring blockages despite regular cleaning
- Bristles are shedding — a food safety risk
