About This Part
This is a high-quality replacement solenoid valve for Henny Penny commercial pressure fryers fitted with a 24-volt low-voltage control system. The solenoid valve controls pressure retention in the frying vat — closing at the start of the cook cycle and opening when the cycle ends to release pressure. A faulty 24V solenoid valve will typically result in the fryer failing to build or hold pressure during cooking.

Installation Notes
Always disconnect power before replacing. The solenoid coil wires can be connected in either order. If only the coil is faulty, Part No. 29547 (24V 60Hz coil only) can be fitted without replacing the full valve body. If Teflon seals are worn, use repair kit Part No. 17120.
