Henny Penny Pressure Fryer Solenoid Valve Repair Kit (Part No. 17120)
Henny Penny Pressure Fryer Solenoid Valve Repair Kit (Part No. 17120)
About This Kit
This is a complete solenoid valve repair kit for Henny Penny commercial pressure fryers. If your solenoid valve is leaking pressure or failing to hold pressure during the cook cycle, a worn or nicked Teflon seal is often the cause — and this kit allows you to restore the valve to full working order without replacing the entire valve assembly.
This is a universal kit — it is compatible with all Henny Penny solenoid valve variants: 18721, 18724, 29515 and 29698. No country or voltage selection required. One kit fits all.
What is Included in the Kit
The kit contains all internal seals and components required for a complete valve overhaul:
- Retainer clip (17101)
- Retainer spring (17109)
- Core spring (17110)
- Disc assembly core (17111)
- Bonnet gasket (17112)
- Seat, Teflon (17114)
- Disc spring guide (17115)
- Disc spring (17116)
- Retainer spring ring (17117)
- O-ring seal seat (17122)
Important: If any one seal is defective, all seals should be replaced. Do not replace individual seals only — always fit the complete kit.

Installation Notes
The solenoid body must be removed from the fryer to replace the seals. Always disconnect power before starting. Remove the two adapter screws attaching the pipe adapter to the solenoid body, then remove the disc spring, guide and seat. Clean the valve body thoroughly. Wet the O-ring around the seal with water and insert the O-ring assembly flat side first through the IN side of the body. Use a pencil eraser to press the Teflon seal in until it snaps into place — do not nick or mark the seal as even the smallest nick will cause a pressure leak. Replace all O-ring seals and reassemble the valve.
