This high limit safety thermostat is a direct replacement for Pitco PP10084 and protects commercial gas fryers from dangerous overheating by cutting off the gas supply when oil reaches 232C (450F). It is a manual reset device - after a safety trip the engineer must press the reset button to restore operation, ensuring that the cause of the overheat is investigated before the fryer is restarted. The thermostat features a 6.4mm x 120mm stainless steel probe, 30 inch (762mm) capillary, 1/4 inch NPT stuffing gland, and 1 pole with 3 connections.
