The Robertshaw 1830-601 is an aerated incinerator-target commercial gas pilot burner with a reversed hood configuration for thermocouple-only standing pilot systems on specific Garland ovens and Vulcan Hart ranges. The hood is fitted in the reverse orientation directing the flame away from the thermocouple tip as required by the original equipment design. Supplied with both natural gas and LP gas orifices using the same 26-1554 orifice for both gas types.

Fitting a standard-hood pilot in place of this part will cause thermocouple underheating and gas valve safety lockout. Always inspect the existing pilot to confirm hood orientation before ordering.

THERMOCOUPLE ONLY: This pilot cannot be used with thermopile sensing systems. Verify that the gas valve is operated by a thermocouple millivolt system before ordering. If a two-wire thermopile system is fitted a different pilot model is required.
