Replacement flame failure magnet unit for the gas valve fitted to the Burco MFGS20SS 20 litre LPG hot water boiler. 36 mm long, 12.5 mm head, 8.5 mm seat, 2 mm rod thermocouple contact.

Please note: This unit has a 2 mm rod contact. It is not interchangeable with the 7.5 mm pin Smeg magnet of similar size.
How it works
The thermocouple's millivolt output energises the magnet coil and holds the gas path open. If the flame is lost the coil de-energises and the spring closes the valve within seconds. Match the length, head diameter, seat diameter and thermocouple connection to your original before ordering. Fit by a Gas Safe registered engineer and leak-test after installation.
