Thermo-electric magnet unit (trade code MA12) for Mertik Maxitrol GV-series gas combination valves and thermostats. 37 mm long, 19 mm head, 14 mm seat. Used on commercial ovens, griddles, bain maries, fryers and water heaters with Mertik controls.

How it works
The thermocouple's millivolt output energises the magnet coil and holds the gas path open. If the flame is lost the coil de-energises and the spring closes the valve within seconds. Match the length, head diameter, seat diameter and thermocouple connection to your original before ordering. Fit by a Gas Safe registered engineer and leak-test after installation.
